Guides & webinars

Our webinar recordings, workbooks, ebooks and research, in one place. Each one sits behind a short form — you give an email address, and you get the file or the recording.

Last updated: 17 August 2026 · An index of our guides, workbooks, webinar recordings and research

Everything listed here is gated: there is a short form on each page, and the file or recording follows once you fill it in. We would rather say that before the click than after it. These are reading material, not product documentation and not a sales call — if what you actually want is what Choicely costs, that lives on our pricing page.

Webinar recordings

  • From Viewers to Engaged Fans: The Power of Companion Apps — A recording of a webinar held on 11 December 2024, written for broadcasters and TV production companies: why companion apps hold an audience while linear viewing declines, case studies from apps already running, a live demo of building one, and the monetisation options. The page reports that attendees rated it 9.5 out of 10.
  • Native Apps at the Speed of Now — A webinar held on 26 February 2025: a live demo of building native iOS and Android apps and updating them in real time, an introduction to the Choicely reseller programme, and an open Q&A.

Guides and workbooks

  • From Reach to Revenue: How to Create a Successful Live Event App — A workbook for event businesses: the commercial problems events run into, where an app helps across the event lifecycle, examples of apps built for events, and the steps for planning your own.
  • Ebook: Monetize Your Fanbase with AI-Built Mobile Apps — A 34-page guide for sports organisations on turning fan engagement into revenue: what AI-built apps change about the cost and timeline of having one, techniques for moving casual followers towards the supporters who spend, and a three-step framework for making the app itself earn.

Research

  • The State of Sports Fan Engagement 2023Research published in 2023. A survey of 289 sports industry professionals, run with iSportConnect: how important fan engagement is to their organisation, which channels and content formats they rely on, the skills they say the industry lacks, and which technologies they expected to change it. The headline results are readable on the page itself; the gated download is the full report, with commentary from iSportConnect and Choicely experts. It is a 2023 snapshot and we have not re-run the survey since — read it as a record of that year, not as the current state of the field.

Reading the dates

Each line above carries the year its asset was published, because they were published between 2023 and 2025 and none of them has been revised since. Nothing here is new; the dates are there so you can decide what is still useful to you. If you are comparing tools rather than reading up on a market, the side-by-side pages are indexed at Compare app builders.
