Free AI App Builder

Q: What are credits and how do they work?

Credits are what you spend when the AI does work for you — generating your app from a prompt, creating screens, and making changes. The free plan includes 150 credits each month, and they refresh monthly. Paid plans include larger credit allowances.

Q: Do I need a credit card to start?

No. You sign up with an email and start building immediately. There’s no trial countdown and nothing to cancel.

Q: Can I publish my app to the App Store and Google Play for free?

No — and no honest builder can offer that. Apple and Google charge developer-account fees, and store submission is a paid feature on every platform in our comparison. On Choicely, publishing starts with Premium at $25/month, and the Publish Assistant guides you through submitting to both stores under your own developer accounts.

Q: How is this different from Appy Pie or Glide’s free options?

Appy Pie has no free plan — only a 7-day trial that requires a card, with paid plans from $16/app/month. Glide’s free plan is genuinely free but produces web apps (PWAs), which can’t be published to the App Store or Google Play. Choicely’s free plan builds real native iOS and Android apps you can preview on your phone.

Q: Is the app really native, or a webview wrapper?

Really native. Choicely generates Swift (iOS) and Java (Android) apps. That matters because Apple’s App Review Guideline 4.2 routinely rejects webview wrappers — websites repackaged as apps — for lacking native functionality.

Q: What happens when my free credits run out?

Your app and all your work stay exactly as they are — nothing is deleted. You can wait for your 150 credits to refresh the next month, or upgrade to Premium ($25/month) for a larger allowance and publishing.

Q: What does Premium add over the free plan?

Premium ($25/month) adds app-store publishing with the Publish Assistant and a larger monthly credit allowance; Business ($50/month) raises the limits further for bigger teams and audiences. The free plan is for building and previewing; paid plans are for shipping and scaling.

Why Choicely is the free AI app builder to start with

150 free credits monthly

The free plan includes 150 credits every month (25/day) — no credit card, no trial expiry. Build and iterate for as long as you need.

$0 to build & preview

Build a complete native app and preview it on your own phone by scanning a QR code — before paying anything.

Real Swift & Java output

Choicely generates real native code for iOS and Android — not a website wrapped in an app shell.

No Guideline 4.2 risk

Apple's App Review Guideline 4.2 routinely rejects webview wrapper apps. Choicely apps are native, so they aren't wrappers.

2 stores, 1 assistant

When you upgrade, the Publish Assistant prepares your listings and guides you through submitting to both the App Store and Google Play.

Eurovision & Miss Universe scale

The same platform behind the free plan powers fan apps for some of the world’s biggest entertainment brands.

How the free AI app builder works

Choicely Studio building a native cocktail-recipes app from a prompt

1. Describe your app

Type your idea into the prompt box — audience, content, features. Choicely’s AI generates a native app draft: screens, navigation, and structure. Signing up gets you 150 free credits, no credit card.

2. Make it yours — and preview it free

Refine the draft in the visual editor: brand colors, layouts, content, and engagement features like voting, polls, and video. Preview the real app on your own phone by scanning a QR code. Your 150 credits refresh every month, so there’s no trial expiry.

3. Publish when you’re ready

Upgrade to Premium ($25/month) and the Publish Assistant prepares your listings and walks you through submitting to both the App Store and Google Play under your own developer accounts.

Build your app free

A real native iOS and Android app on the free plan — not a webview wrapper

Most "free" app builders produce web apps or webview wrappers. Choicely’s AI generates real native iOS and Android apps — the kind Apple’s and Google’s review teams accept. You build and preview that native app entirely on the free plan.

Credits, plainly explained

Credits are what you spend when the AI works for you — generating your app from a prompt, creating screens, making changes. The free plan includes 150 credits every month, refreshing monthly. Your work is never deleted when credits run low; you can always wait for the refresh or upgrade.

From free build to the app stores — the Publish Assistant

Publishing is where most app projects stall. When you’re ready to ship, Premium ($25/month) unlocks the Publish Assistant: it generates your store listing, pre-checks Apple’s and Google’s review rules, and walks your app into both stores.

Why choose the Choicely free AI app builder

A free AI app builder turns a plain-English description into a working mobile app without charging you to build it. The catch, across the industry, is what "free" covers: Appy Pie has no free plan at all, Glide’s free apps never reach the app stores, and Adalo and Bubble hold native output behind paid tiers.

Choicely’s free plan gives you 150 credits every month — no credit card, no trial clock — to build and preview a real native iOS and Android app on your own phone. Publishing to the stores is the paid step (Premium, $25/month), because store submission is where real infrastructure costs start.

We think that’s the fairest free tier in the category — the comparison below shows why.

What "free" actually means: Choicely vs. Appy Pie, Adalo, Glide & Bubble

Every builder below says "free" somewhere on its site. This is what each free plan actually includes, verified on their official pricing pages (July 2026).

Free plan exists?	Card required?	Native iOS + Android on free?	Entry paid price (USD)
Choicely	Yes — 150 credits/month, forever	No	Yes — build & preview real Swift/Java apps	$25/mo (Premium; Business $50/mo)
Appy Pie	No — 7-day trial only	Yes	—	$16/app/mo (Android only)
Adalo	Yes	No	Build only — native publishing is paid	$36/mo (Starter)
Glide	Yes	No	No — web apps (PWA), not native	From $25/mo (Basic); Plus $50/mo; Pro $125/mo — repriced under GlideOS
Bubble	Yes	No	Paid plans only — free projects can’t deploy	~$59/mo annual (web + native)

No app builder — Choicely included — publishes to the App Store and Google Play for $0: Apple and Google charge developer fees, and store submission is paid on every platform here. The difference is what you get before paying. On Choicely, that’s a finished, previewable native app. Full plan details on our pricing page.

Sources & disclosure: competitor pricing verified on the vendors’ official pricing pages (Appy Pie, Adalo, Glide, Bubble) as of July 23, 2026; re-verified quarterly. Choicely publishes this page and appears in the comparison, so we have a commercial interest in one of the tools compared. Where another tool’s free plan is the better fit — web-only apps, internal tools — we say so. Last updated: July 23, 2026.
