Here’s how to get a kickstart to building apps by using a pre-built template.
The steps are:
- Choose your app template
- Create your user profile, account and app
- Get started and begin editing your app
1. Choose your app template
Start creating your app by clicking “Get started” on our website. (Picture 1)
You can also go back to creating an app from a template when you’re logged in, and choose “Accounts” from the left side menu, and click on “New Brand from Template”.
You’ll arrive at a view where you can choose to use AI to make an app from your website content – or you can choose to build on an app template.
Start with a template and you’ll get an app with a ready-made design and structure that you can use as the basis for your own app. (Picture 1B)
You can always go back to choosing a template or AI. You can even opt-in to make an app completely from scratch – but we recommend using a template or AI as you will get more done faster that way.
Browse around and see what kind of features each template has (Picture 1C).
Finally, select the template you want to use and click “Use template” (the green button below the template).
2. Create your profile, account and app
Then choose a name for your app, and select where you want your data to be stored (“Region”). The app name can be changed later. The region can’t be changed, so choose it carefully.
Then you’ll be asked to create your account: an email and a password. You can also sign up using a Google account or Apple ID.
3. Get started and begin editing your app
And now you can start customizing the template app as your own. It’s time to get going with creating apps!
