Miss Universe launched the global Miss Universe app April 1st, 2021. The 69th Miss Universe competition was launched the same day, and the global vote, which became the largest fan vote in Miss Universe history was launched in the same day. The final was held May 16, 2021.
Miss Universe global vote was hosted in Miss Universe app, and the app provided a separate National Costume vote for the last few days. The global vote was hosted simultaneously in missuniverse.com website, to enable maximum exposure and easiness to participate for the global fan base.
The National Costume vote was also popular all around the world. The national costumes were photographed in the national costume round in a preliminary, and the vote was published after the event.
The Largest Fan Vote in Miss Universe History
The 69th Miss Universe global vote was by far the largest fan vote in Miss Universe history. People from 200+ countries were voting their favorite delegates to support their journey to the TOP21. The winner of the fan vote was Vietnam, and the result was announced in the Miss Universe final show.

Miss Universe app had a royal welcome from the global fan base and the app was downloaded more than 3 million times in the first 5 weeks after the app launch.
